week

Can you believe it is the last week of June?? I can't and it makes me sad because that means school will start before we know, grandkids will be back to school and no time for playing with us!!! BooHoo!! We will get the twins on the 4th for a few days, our plans are to attend the rodeo on Thursday as it's family night and lots of fun! We have been eating alot of salads, as the Farmer's market is in full swing here in the northland! I bought radishes that were white, kale, spring onions, spring garlic, leaf lettuce and snap peas! I like to mix this all up for a salad at night, YUM!!! Blessings!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the fathers who might cruise this site! We had a very quiet day here in northern Wisconsin! Gordon smoked some ribs and used a new rub, they were very good!! Thanks, honey! I don't talk very much about my dad and I don't know why, except he was a great dad! He had three daughters who adored him till the very end! Miss you Dad!! Blessings!

Montana sky???

Gordon came in the house this afternoon and said " the sky looks like Montana, so blue and with the puffy clouds rolling by!" If any of you know Gordon, that's alot of words to come out of him!! So,we went out(the granddaughters and I) to see the sky and enjoy the afternoon in Wisconsin! Our weather has been so weird lately, hot way too hot for this time of year and now today to cool for swimming! Gordon is just finishing up planting the garden and trying to figure out what to do with the garden area we aren't using, maybe wildflowers! The girls are fun, tire me out by evening and we have throughly enjoyed them! We haven't baked as much as I planned because it was too hot to turn on the oven on Saturday, but we are frying donuts tonight! Blessings!

Summer is here!!!

This weekend, the girls will be here with Daddy, but Daddy and Grandpa have a job to do for Auntie and Uncle Trevor, so it's me and the girls on Saturday! I'm thinking about going to the Dairy breakfast, maybe not for breakfast, but there is so much going on like getting our faces painted, seeing the cows and eating strawberries! Sounds like fun to me! Gordon was gone last weekend with his friend, Don, to South Dakota for prairie dog hunting! Someone asked me how I fix them, really?? They are rats!!! So, I shredded papers for 3 hours on Sunday, went to Siren with my friend Julie and had some alone time! I figured out that I can't stay in this house if something would happen to Gordon, too much to care for and it made me cry, big tears, too! Well, the brownies are made and I need to grocery shop tomorrow after work for the weekend! Sorry for the ramblings! Blessings!
