A couple of weeks ago I posted about prayer and the importance of it! To take daily time whether it's 5 minutes or 20. minutes, prayer will add protection to your life. Protection from who? One guess, the enemy of Christ! Ephesians 6:11 says "Put on all of the God's armor so that you will able to stand firm against all the strategies of the devil." Did you get that?? We have protection for that enemy of all mankind that has been hanging around too much and bullying too many of our families for far too long! When I posted that, man, I got hammered by him, but " Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world." My God wins and prayer works! Those of you who are joining me, how is it going for you? Memory verses are important, have you chosen some to memorize?? I working on a few, praying them every day and believing the power that is the verses. I did a memory verse a week a couple of years ago and I had someone at church who kept me accountable. I chose verses with the word hope in it, because Jesus is our living hope ! This year, my word is joy, so guess what I'm reading joy verses!! Get busy and start your prayer time! Blessings!!

Hi Girlfriend! I'm having fun adding some "I am" statements to my prayer time. Statements that reflect who I am in Christ: "I am a healthy, vibrant woman." "I am able to do everything I'm called to do because Christ lives in me." "I am full of rest and peace." You get the idea. I've added "I am" statements during prayer for my family members, too...keeps my mind in the right place and recalls the promises of God.
